“In North Texas, a trustworthy roofing company is worth its weight in....shingles. I leave very few reviews, so something has to be pretty exceptional for me to comment on it; I was lucky enough to have been referred by a friend. It's possible you might be able to beat them on quoted price, but in all the ways that matter (quality, reliability, service, transparency, and communication) you won't find better. For us, we're going to have just one phone call to make.”

We've been immensely happy with him and he has a well earned stellar reputation, especially with the BBB. James has developed a great clientele over the years and also receives enough referrals so he does not need to go door-to-door. He's local, use to live in our HOA but has moved to a community within our local area and is well aware of local and HOA requirements for roof replacements. James also works well with insurance providers, coordinating inspections and assisting clients with getting the most out of their claims.”

“We have had Heckadon Roofing assist us with home repairs as well as remodeling. They have completed: - new roof with higher quality shingles - new larger capacity gutters to handle the immense Texas storms - new window screens - removal of an ice dam during a frigid Winter storm - raising a 6’ fence up to 8’ and restaining to HOA code - repainting trim on the outside of our house - rebuild of two fence gates including new wood and matched staining - repainting of three garage doors - electrical and plumbing to support a remodel - full remodel of our bathroom with a new glass shower, tiled floors - rebuild and tiling of our main fireplace - and probably something I am missing…lol Every one of Heckadon Roofing’s crew were very helpful, courteous, and professional. “WOW! I can not express how impressed was with the service, knowledge and quality that Heckadon Roofing provided to me. Hands down, He is probably the best roofer in North Texas. James Heckadon takes considerable pride in his workmanship. He is insured, bonded, TOTALLY reliable runner up for most ethical business in North Texas by the BBB. He would be my first choice If I had to do it again. BTW, I was roofed by a fly-by -nite roofer, only to have to re-roof 6 months later. I got many quotes and his was the most honest and accurate of all. Further, he,'s a genuine nice guy that will be present and on the job when the work is performed. Look no further. Call and Trust this Man. Addendum 4 years later: Inspectors came to review the house prior to home sale. They questioned the roofing, James came immediately and demonstrated the roofing was correct and they were in error. He did minor touch ups at no charge even though the roof was 2 years out of warranty.”
